Whimsy and Magic, Katie & Luke’s Storybook Wedding
From the very beginning, Katie and Luke knew they wanted their wedding stationery to feel different. Their vision lived at the intersection of outdoor whimsy, cozy book club charm, and a subtle nod to the magic of Harry Potter and Disney. Honestly, it was a right up this designers alley to bring to life.
These two were deeply invested in the design process, not just to create something beautiful, but to create something that truly told their story. Individually and together. Every decision was intentional, layered with meaning, and infused with personality.
A Magical First Impression
One of the most playful elements of the suite, were the bookmark Save the Dates. A perfect blend of form and function, they immediately set the tone, romantic, literary, and just a little unexpected. It was our first chance to let guests know this wedding would be anything but ordinary.
From our first coffee meeting, I knew we were in great hands. The process was so easy and fun, and the final stationery felt completely us. Every detail was thoughtful and special, and we couldn’t have loved it more.
Designing Something Entirely Their Own
We leaned into non-traditional shapes, rich textures, and an old blackletter monogram paired with elegant gold foil accents to create a suite that felt timeless yet entirely unique. The look wasn’t trying to fit a trend it was about creating a visual language that belonged solely to Katie and Luke.
At the heart of it all was a fully custom “W” monogram woven throughout the entire suite. It became the visual anchor, appearing across the paper pieces and culminating in a custom wax seal that tied everything together in the most satisfying way.
Trust, Collaboration & Coffee Dates
Katie, Luke and the Williams family trusted me to deliver something truly special, and that trust made all the difference. Our coffee meet-up meetings were such a treat, easy conversations, shared excitement, and the kind of collaboration every creative hopes for.
When clients come to the table with openness, enthusiasm, and heart, the end result always shines brighter.
A Suite as Special as the Couple
Katie and Luke’s wedding stationery wasn’t just about paper, it was about storytelling. About celebrating individuality, shared passions, and the magic that happens when two people come together. Creating this suite was an honor, and I’ll forever love how boldly the pieces turned out.
